Bits and pieces

The way of the studio

As a composer of multimedia there is no avoiding the benefits of the computer. My studio is fully equiped to produce low-budget orchestral sounding cues. One of the things I am using is Kontakt2 by Native Instruments; a software sampler.

Nils Liberg's Kscript Editor

One of the possibilities of Kontakt 2 is creating your own scripts that can enhance functionality of musical parameters. Nils Liberg made a nifty editor that even enhanced the scripting possibilities. I helped him port this great app to OSX. If you use Kontakt 2 and like to learn the Kontakt 2 scripting, you can download the editor at Nils' Website and be sure to check out his very powerful scripts as well. It was real fun to work with Nils, besides: he is soooooo clever!

The art of designing a website

I hadn't realised that building a website could be so much fun. I got some pointers to a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor and soon after I discovered the wonderful world of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). After some studying I realised that it would be better if I was able to understand HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) as well.

Resources on CSS that I found completely mesmerizing are Stuart Nichols amazing experiments with CSS and even a better showcase of what is possible with CSS is to be found at CSS Zengarden.

Since I use some innovative CSS techniques for this site, you can better use a proper browser such as Firefox or Opera.
